Tonia Ferguson is a trauma-focused psychotherapist committed to helping individuals heal from the effects of trauma and improve their mental health. With a strength-based, client-centered approach, Tonia works collaboratively with clients to address the mental health symptoms that impact their relationships and daily functioning. By focusing on each person’s unique strengths and experiences, Tonia helps clients rebuild resilience and develop practical strategies to restore balance in their lives. Argelia Becerra, MA, APCC
Argelia Becerra is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and extensive training in trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic practices. She has delivered clinical services across community mental health, school-based programs, and private practice settings, assisting children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, emotional dysregulation, relational challenges, and life stressors. In addition to her clinical expertise, Argelia has pursued extensive education in complementary healing practices, such as Reiki and mind-body wellness approaches, which she integrates when clinically appropriate and upon client request to enhance relaxation and emotional grounding. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, she provides culturally responsive services to Spanish-speaking clients and families. Her areas of expertise include trauma-informed psychotherapy, emotional and behavioral regulation, parent-child relational work, communication and family systems improvement, and the integration of mind-body approaches like mindfulness and grounding techniques. Argelia’s therapeutic approach is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside holistic elements to foster self-awareness and emotional balance. Christina Maricle, Human Resources Director & Insurance Billing Supervisor
Christina is a passionate coach specializing in personal and career development, with a strong emphasis on mental wellness and combating employee burnout. Her mission is to empower individuals to unlock their full potential, achieve financial success, and cultivate meaningful and fulfilling lives. Christina holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her MBA, while also being a proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). As the HR Director and Billing Supervisor for Healing Enhanced Wellness and Recovery, she plays a crucial role in overseeing human resources operations, ensuring a supportive work environment, and managing employee relations to foster a positive organizational culture. In her billing supervisor capacity, Christina streamlines billing processes, ensuring efficient financial management and compliance with industry standards. She emphasizes emotional intelligence, helping clients understand and manage their emotions to prioritize mental well-being. Recognizing the critical role of time management, Christina implements effective strategies to mitigate burnout and enhance mental health. Additionally, she promotes innovation and intuition, encouraging creativity and visionary thinking within teams. By helping clients identify their non-negotiables, Christina enhances self-awareness and strategic planning, guiding them towards a healthier, more fulfilling work life.
Savanah D., SUD Counselor, RADT
Savanah is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree at Modesto Junior College, focusing on developing her knowledge and skills in behavioral health. Certified through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), she is employed at Nirvana Drug and Alcohol Treatment, where she provides essential support and care to individuals in recovery. Her areas of expertise include Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counseling, recovery support, client advocacy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies. Savanah believes in offering compassionate, client-centered care that emphasizes understanding each individual’s unique journey toward recovery. She values creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives. This approach highlights her commitment to empathy, respect, and encouragement, helping clients build the confidence and tools necessary for lasting sobriety and personal growth. Outside of work, Savanah enjoys baking and cooking, as well as reading a variety of genres, from sci-fi to romance. A huge animal lover, she finds joy in spending time with pets. Interestingly, she is also a Type 1 diabetic, which adds a unique perspective to her approach in supporting others on their recovery journeys.
Donovan F., Intake Specialist
Donovan is our dedicated Intake Specialist, bringing a unique blend of creativity and psychological insight to our team. A poet, writer, and author, Donovan studied Psychology and Dark Psychology in Literature at The University of La Verne. He is also the organizer and operator of the Artistic Creative Expression Therapy Group, known as Regulating Remedies. His areas of expertise include administrative assistance, leading art groups, and facilitating introspective writing and poetry sessions. Donovan’s personal philosophy emphasizes the importance of operating in alignment with the demeanor of the Sun: perpetually self-sustaining and passionately radiant. Outside of his professional role, he enjoys music, taking morning and evening walks with his mom and sisters, and making new friends to create art with. He also finds joy in helping others simplify complicated tasks. Fun fact: Donovan prefers the desert over the beach!
Letitia D., Insurance Biller
Letitia is our dedicated Biller, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous role as a multi-unit restaurant manager, where she spent three years managing the company's profit and loss as well as overseeing all financial aspects of day-to-day business operations. Though new to billing, she excels at identifying financial discrepancies and issues. Letitia’s personal philosophy centers on the belief that "if you do not love yourself, how can you truly be capable of giving love?" She emphasizes the importance of self-love as the foundation for all relationships. Outside of work, Letitia enjoys dancing, hiking, fishing, and spending quality time with her loved ones. A fun fact about her is that she is a spur-of-the-moment person who loves to embark on spontaneous adventures, often with no specific destination in mind.
